A delightful airstream boutique in Portland, Oregon, Menagerie specializes in clean, high-quality beauty products from small brands and local artisans.
Housed in a beautifully renovated 1979 vintage Airstream, this unique shop is filled with all kinds of handmade goods and jewelry, organic skincare and makeup, as well as carefully curated essentials and grooming tools.
As a packaging designer and beauty brand developer, Casey Shagena, the owner of Menagerie, wanted to create a space where the makers of small-batch products could share their goods. Therefore, in 2014, inspired by Portland’s legendary food cart scene, she opened her dream shop in a converted airstream.
Featuring a chic and simple rustic-inspired design, the boutique provides a canvas for displaying exclusive, well-crafted goods that meet the needs of both clients and the environment. As well as supporting small businesses, local brands, and creative artists who are new to the market and pay particular attention to quality and detail, Menagerie’s mission is “to provide products that are good for the body, good for the environment and good for the people who make them”.
In addition to non-chemical skincare and cosmetics, Menagerie boasts a handpicked selection of perfumes, men’s grooming products, artisan jewelry, and teas.
Those interested in buying a unique handmade gift or a natural body lotion, will find this cool Portland boutique at Tidbit Food Farm and Garden.
